Montana OT Collaboration:This is a community for Montana OTs, OTAs, recent grads, and students to unite and share information. There are numerous OTs throughout Montana that do not have other OTs to collaborate or bounce ideas off of. The majority of Montana is considered rural, requiring many OTs to have a broad skill set across many settings. This can be both a strength and challenge of practicing in Montana. This group is intended to be a place where you can ask questions in a safe environment, share treatment ideas, offer advice/encouragement, and collaborate with other inspiring OTs throughout Montana. *Disclaimer: Not all posts, questions, and comments will be monitored for evidence-based practice. Please continue to use your best clinical judgement when communicating and collaborating with others.
There are numerous people who are not receiving occupational therapy services because their communities do not have occupational therapists or because they do not understand how occupational therapy could help them. Lets promote OT throughout the state of Montana by working together and supporting one another:)
